Chogha Zanbil, Iran

A view of the Ziggurat at Chogha Zanbil in south-western Iran. This structure was built in 1250 BC by the Elamite ruler Untash-Gal as a dedication to the diety Inshushinak 'Lord of Shush (Susa)'.
